Dear Lobo Club Member:

There has never been any more important moment for the future of Lobos athletics than today, and you remain the key. Throughout America, the culture and economics of student athletic programs are being redefined, and we need to be prepared. When I became athletic director at UNM late last year I promised you, our students, and everyone who loves Lobo sports, that we intend to make our programs unsurpassed in character, and academic and athletic excellence. To meet those goals we need your continued faith, enthusiasm and financial support. Over the last several months I have reached out personally to many of you, and what I’ve heard from you is that you want our young women and men to represent the best in competition, in the classroom, and in the community. To accomplish that it remains our responsibility to provide for them a quality education, facilities and resources to achieve those goals.

I am excited about the future of Lobos athletics, and I hope you are, too. Together, we can set a standard for college sports programs, attract the best and brightest student athletes, and assure them one of the very best academic and campus environments in America. I encourage you to join the Lobo Club and invest in the future of these exemplary individuals.
